Honor

Some fight for peace
Some fight for happiness
Without realizing they are destroying it

They say they're fighting for their country
They actually believe it
What makes me sick the most
Is that the so said country is just waiting
Waiting safely while they watch their soldiers die

Peace doesn't come from war
Happiness doesn't come from death
And to "defend" a country that way
It always ends up with most people dead

How can someone defend a country
Instead of their own lives?
A country isn't our life
That isn't to die with honor...

I may sound childish for some
But to give your name to the army
Is to sign your contract with Death
Because even with no training whatsoever
You will be called
You will be killed

If honor is to kill people
Instead of caring for who we love
If honor is to die fighting for a pointless thing
To kill children, families, equals
Then I don't think I'll be able to live in this world
